Kruger National Park

The Kruger National Park is one of Africa’s largest nature reserves, covering approximately 7580 square miles. It is located in the north-eastern South African provinces of Limpopo and Mpumalanga. The national park’s history dates back to 1898, when certain areas were protected by the South African government. It became the country’s first official national park and opened to the public in 1926, and it remains to this day one of Africa’s most visited safari destinations. Thanks to this foresight, huge tracts of land are now protected and preserved instead of being commercially exploited and further endangered. Kruger National Park is home to no less than fourteen different biospheres, each with their own selection of native wildlife.

Singita Sweni Lodge

Singita Sweni Lodge is a wonderful, small and intimate lodge, set on stilts in a picture-perfect setting overlooking the Sweni River. Six open plan, comfortable suites look out over the river with large decks that include daybeds and outdoor showers. Singita Sweni is perfectly positioned in a biome on the banks of the Sweni river which attracts an abundance of wildlife.

Lion Sands Tinga Lodge

Located in Lion Sands Game reserve, Tinga lodge offers luxurious comfort. There are nine private suites with spectacular views of the surrounding area and wildlife- viewing right from your private deck and plunge pool. Lion Sands Narina Lodge

Singita Ebony Lodge

Singita Ebony Lodge nestles itself on the banks of the Sand River in the vast Sabi Sand Private game reserve. With over 18,800 hectares (more than 72 square miles) the chances of sightings of the big 5, especially leopard, are extremely high here. This particular, unfenced lodge is home to twelve private, thatched suites with private plunge pool. The decor is a contemporary interpretation of the classic safari lodge, combining tented camp and bush lodge style. Singita offers a variety of daily activities such as mountain biking and archery. The scenery is magically picture perfect and close encounters with natural wonders, such as elephant, impala, giraffe is easily a life changing experience.

Singita Boulders Lodge

Singita Boulders Lodge is a celebration of the tranquillity, space, and light which flows throughout this incredibly vast area. Inspired by the geometry of the boulders on which it rests. Boulders Lodge is an inviting oasis where organic interiors integrate seamlessly with the raw African beauty outside. Twelve suites are glass fronted to include stone fireplace, lounge veranda with fire place and heated plunge pool pool.

Londolozi Pioneer Camp

Londolozi Pioneer camp is positioned next to Founders camp and is a Relais & Chateux property. This Victorian style, exclusive camp offers only three suites suitable for families or small groups on a private basis. Each suite offers a private pool and spacious deck. Floor to ceiling glass allows for superb views of the wilderness beyond.

Londolozi Tree Camp

Londolozi Tree Camp offers six suites with private deck and plunge pool, overlooking the Sand River. . Candlelit dinners are served in the boma in a relaxed atomosphere. Lunches and breakfast are a special feature, served up in the trees overlooking the Sand River. This is a place of leopards and Lead Wood trees!

&Beyond Kirkmans Kamp

&Beyond Kirkmans Kamp is located on a private concession over looking the Sand River. This camp is reminiscent of a bygone age, built in the early 1920’s and restored. Eighteen suites with private verandas offer views of the bush. Wonderful meals are served under gigantic trees where monkeys jump from branch to branch and at night under the stars next to a warm campfire.

Selati Camp

Small and quiet, The Selati Camp in Sabi Sands is a romantic lodge with an “Out Of Africa” feel to it. You are sure to notice the railroad theme, paying homage to the area’s economical development and history. The canopy beds, alfresco showers and nightly lit oil lamps in each of the eight thatched suites create a serene ambiance in an already luxurious setting. Unique and varietal cuisines are served Boma style on the thatched, wood decks that overlook Msuthlu Riverbed, or perhaps you may prefer breakfast in the farmhouse kitchen. Manyeleti Game Reserve

The Manyleti Game Reserve is situated on the eastern side of Kruger National Park, between Timbavati and Sabi Sands Game Reserves in the Mpumalanga province of South Africa. Manyleti means “Place of the stars” in the Tsonga language of the local tribal people. There are no fences between the private game reserves and national park thus allowing greater chance of spotting some of the ‘Big Five’ especially the evasive leopard. There are over 300 bird species in this region, creating a paradise for Bird watchers and wildlife fans alike.

Tintswalo Safari Lodge

Cradled between Timbavati Game Reserve and Sabi Sand Reserve you will find a gem peacefully resting in a sycamore tree grove…Tintswalo safari lodge. The main lodge overlooks a watering hole, where in the early afternoon you will encounter elephants drinking and frolicking and as you dine al fresco the baboons will be watching your every move….hoping for a morsel of exquisite cuisine. The six spacious and sumptuous suites all have private decks and a plunge pool, and overlook a waterhole frequented by variations of wildlife. Each suite is also authentically decorated to recall the pioneering times of the nineteenth century African explorers they are named for.

Madikwe Game Reserve

Madikwe Game Reserve lies on the edge of the Kalahari Desert, forty kilometers from the Botswana border and 90 kilometers north of the town of Zeerust in north west corridor of South Africa. Madikwe Game Reserve is one of the largest game reserves in South Africa and home to the big five, a year round game viewing destination since there is no migration. Madikwe Game Reserve is Malaria free and is home to over sixty five mammal species and a large number of migrant and resident bird species.

Sanctuary Makanyane Safari Lodge

Designed to have minimal environmental impact, constructed from local stone, wood and thatch and blending effortlessly with the bush, the lodge allows guests to continuously experience the natural beauty of their surroundings. Hidden in riverside forest, the eight luxurious suites, each with glass-walled bedrooms, overlook the Marico River, offering uninterrupted views of the surrounding bush.

Jaci’s Safari Lodge

Jaci’s Safari Lodge consists of eight luxurious rooms with private deck and outdoor shower. From your veranda you will often see wildlife making their way to the river to drink. The lodge also has two family suites with plunge pool and private guide and game drive vehicle. Jaci’s Safari Lodge and Jaci’s Tree lodge of child friendly and offer special activities for children.

Jaci's Tree Lodge

Jaci’s Tree Lodge offers eight splendid tree houses built on wooden stilts, connected by suspended walkways. The rooms are beautifully decorated in bright colors with private outdoor showers. Activities include river walks between the two lodges and game drives twice a day on the seventy five hectare Madikwe Game Reserve.

Tswalu Kalahari Game Reserve

Tswalu Kalahari is South Africa’s largest private game reserve, covering nearly a quarter of a million acres, at one time a hunting reserve, now a conservation area This reserve alone is home to one third of South Africa’s dwindling black rhino population. A huge emphasis is placed on sustaining and enriching the natural ecosystem once found here when the indigenous San people (Bushman) lived on these lands. This Malaria free reserve has over 70 species of mammal and 230 species of birds. Such overwhelming sights will give you goosebumps at the incredibility of what you have just observed, the wildlife safari is worth every penny spent.

The Motse

Tarkuni Lodge

Tswalu Tarkuni Lodge, a Relais & Chateaux property, is positioned in South Africa’s largest Game Reserve. This beautiful lodge offers five luxury bedrooms with en suite bathrooms and outdoor showers. Cape Town

Located at the Southern Tip of Africa lies the world’s most beautiful city. ‘The Mother City’ is cradled between massive and distinctive mountains. The central city is backed by one of the new seven wonders of nature, Table Mountain, and is flanked by Devil’s Peak and Lion’s head. Iconic landscapes include Cape Point where the two oceans meet, the Twelve Apostles, and the vividly colored cliffs of Chapman’s Peak Drive, called ‘The World’s Most Beautiful Coastal Drive’. Cape Town has almost one hundred miles of pristine sand beaches. This is one of very few places in the world where one can see Killer Whales, Penguins and Great White Sharks in the same waters.

Tsala Tree Top Lodge

Perched above an indigenous forest along the Garden Route is where you will find the fabulous Tsala Treetops Lodge. Just imagine walking the suspended bridge from the lobby to your private villa or suite as vervet monkeys swing along the hand rail, curiously watching you. Each of the ten treetop suites and six two bedroom villas reflects an afro-baroque style, built of stone, wood and glass. Each offers a private deck and personal infinity pool. With floor to ceiling glass walls the view of the forest canopy is exquisite. The Zinzi restaurant is a short walk through the botanical grounds. The Views Boutique Hotel overlooks the beautiful beaches of the Indian Ocean in the heart of the Garden Route. Hog Hollow Country Lodge

Hog Hollow offers sixteen suites with private decks, located in the gardens that encompass the main house. The suites are beautifully decorated in earthy colors. A Boma fire is lit every night. Hog Hollow also offers a three bedroomed, double storey villa with infinity pool, private dining area and lounge with fireplace and deck with views of the Tsitsikamma Mountains and valleys.

Shamwari

Shamwari Game Reserve lies on a twenty five thousand hectare, malaria free reserve.

Shamwari Eagles Crag Lodge is situated in a verdant valley. Each of the nine superior rooms were built to maximize luxury and privacy for guests in the most tranquil of settings. The en-suite rooms boast a private deck with pools, and indoor and outdoor showers. Views of the surrounding cliffs are spectacular.

Shamwari Long Lee Manor was built in 1910 and restored to all its glory! The Manor offers ten suites and five luxury rooms and a spa. The waterhole nearby entices excellent wildlife viewing.

Shamwari Lobengula Lodge consists of five luxury rooms and a Chief suite which includes a spacious lounge with fireplace and private pool. There is also a spa and gym.

Shamwari Bayethe Tented Camp offers twelve tented suites, each with shower, private pool and viewing deck. From the viewing deck one can spot wildlife enticed by the river pools.

Shamwari Sarili Lodge is ideal for families, consisting of five en-suite rooms. A viewing deck from the main area overlooks Bushmans River. This lodge is ideal for an entire family safari.

In addition to these lodges and Camps, Shamwari Game Reserve offers Bushmans River Lodge and Bushmans Riverdene Lodge.
